Dr. Angela R. Akinpelu, PA-C
Mrs. Angela R. Akinpelu, PA-C is a distinguished 2012 summa cum laude graduate of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Her extensive clinical experience spans OB/Gyn, Internal Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, and Surgery. As a co-founder and the Director of Clinical Operations at RejuVe Medical Group, Angela demonstrates a steadfast commitment to innovative patient care. She also imparts her extensive knowledge as a Clinical Instructor at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and as a Preceptor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health where she shapes future medical professionals with her expertise.
Angela’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through as the founder of Eden's Crown, a company renowned for its botanically based bath, body, and spa products. Additionally, she developed the MD+PA line of health supplements, enhancing lives with holistic beauty and wellness solutions. Together with her husband, Dr. David Akinpelu, she launched the FerryTales Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization devoted to fostering vocational, educational, spiritual, marital, and health advancements. They also co-own Little Ferry Inn, a tranquil, waterfront retreat and conference center in Virginia.
A fervent proponent of the ketogenic lifestyle, especially as it relates to treating obesity, type 2 diabetes, and other chronic health conditions, Angela is the author of “Navigating Keto: A Comprehensive Wellness Guide” and its companion, the “Keto Workbook & Journal.” She leads an online keto support group, hosts workshops, and organizes in-person, all-inclusive keto retreats at Little Ferry Inn. In 2024, Angela broadened her impact with the introduction of the Keto Delish Club, a ketogenic meal prep and subscription service, further advocating for nutritional wellness and community engagement.
